Logging into MyCR
MyCR is your gateway to online course offerings, project sites for committees and clubs, and your private workspace at College of the Redwoods. This tutorial will explain how to log into MyCR, how to retreive a lost password, and how to get additional support.
Logging into MyCR
To log into MyCR:
- Start your web browser. MyCR (Sakai) works with Firefox, IE 6+, or Safari.
- Go to http://mycr.redwoods.edu
- Type in your username into the Username text field. (e.g., flast123, same as WebAdvisor: first initial + last name + last 3 digits of your CR User ID)
- Type in your password into the Password text field. (Default is your six digit birth date. e.g., mmddyy)
- Press the Log In button.
Retreiving a Lost Password
To reset your MyCR password:
- Start your web browser.
- Go to http://mycr.redwoods.edu
- Click the Forgot Password? link. This can be found below the Username/Password login box.
- Enter the email address associated with MyCR. This is typically your CR student or employee email address (@mycr.redwoods.edu or @redwoods.edu).
- Press the Send Password button.
- After a few minutes, you should receive an email with a temporary password that can use to login.
The AskCR support portal contains a knowledge base that answers many frequently asked questions.
